-Officer of my high school's Octagon Service Club, the organization's largest chapter in the nation(~450 members)
-member of several clubs
-seven years of club ice hockey
-volunteer cook/supervisor for a concessions stand during stanford sports games(3 years)
-cabin leader at a 5th grade science camp for 3 days
-CAP squadron 36 cadet (its a jr. air force type of thing, i was in it for 5 months my sophmore year)
-abt. 150 hrs of community service and counting
-tutored math, lit, and bio during junior year</p>

<p>you'd be almost a shoe-in for in-state, but OOS, you're leaning towards the lower percentile. your grades are on the low side, and your ECs are about average, maybe above average. i'd say its a toss up, so definently apply, because i bet that if you have a good essay or two, you stand a pretty good chance, so work hard on them and have an english teacher and friend proof-read (the teacher is for grammer, usage, ect, a friend is to help out with the actual storyline) good luck =)</p>
