<p>@theminipen, any research oriented med school would prepare you. You shouldn’t be thinking too much about Surgery as you’ll have no idea whether you’ll want it 6/7/8 years from now.</p>

<p>@theminipen, I believe Baylor has a program with Rice and one with Baylor University. I don’t know if both require an MCAT now, or only one.</p>
<p>FlexMed is not “for Mt. <p>@MountSinai, and most of the ones who get into HuMed are from the more elite universities, not state universities.</p>
<p>my advice would be to retake sat to get above 2300 or take ACT. a lot of ppl do better on the ACT (myself included).
