Dear all,

This is my first post on CC, and I would just like to say how amazed I am at the amazing community and environment that has been established. My first thought was how nice and honest everyone was, and how people could truly seek out advice from peers or mentors. Now a little about myself, I am currently a freshman/a rising sophomore. Although that might not be the right time necessarily to be asking "What are my chances?" for certain colleges, I would just like to know the things that I am already doing right, and aspects that I can improve on. I would love all constructive criticism. Thanks for your time!

I would like to know my chances for top schools like HYSP, Columbia, and MIT. I know it may be tough to judge because I'm lacking critical aspects needed, such as SAT scores and AP classes, but any advice on what to do in my following years would be great!

Objective:
-SAT I/II: Because I am currently a freshman, I have taken no SAT's yet. However, I have been doing a lot of studying, and like others I'm hoping to achieve a 2300+ on the SAT I and about 740 on SAT II's.
-Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.0 Weighted GPA: 4.3

Thanks! If it helps, I've established a few goals of my own for my following years of high school. These include:
-Get good grades in AP classes, do good on AP exams
-Place at the International ISEF competition
-Further develop cancer research and possibly file patent

Thanks so much, and I really hope you can judge me honestly and give me some good advice. Good luck to all graduating seniors!
