I spend a lot of time volunteering for JDRF - juvenile diabetes research foundation because I am a type 1 diabetic. I participate in the JDRF walk to cure diabetes and I host a garage sale every year in which all $$$ goes to JDRF. Overall I have made over $10,000.

I will probably write my essays on it

No SAT scores? And you know Harvard doesn’t have ChemE or Env right? As good as chance as any for Stanford and other single digit acceptance schools which means the chances are very low. Don’t really see anything incredibly special but 50% of people who get into those schools are in fact normal. Just write really good essays.

You are a lock at UIUC. If you want to play soccer, consider some top LAC’s with Engineering. Harvey Mudd and Swarthmore come to mind. Both have robust DIII sports programs. Both are top tier.

You have a very good chance at: USC, UNC, Michigan, and UCLA
Almost a lock for: Wisconsin and Illinois

@Doener
I took the ACT (which is accepted by Harvard with subject tests, which I took, and the rest of the schools on my list) and got a 35, so I’m not worried about the SAT. If I apply to Stanford REA will I have a better chance?

@Blueash
I’m looking for a larger school with a big DI program.

@barrk
Thanks

35 ACT translates to a 2300+ SAT. Your ACT is good enough for any school.
