Hello! I am just hoping to get some insight on if I making the right choices on which colleges I should apply to, thanks for any advice/tips!

Super Score: 1810

I will be taking the ACT and might take the SAT again in october, I haven't decided yet.

SAT II's in June, Bio and Lit, I will take Math I in the fall. :)

ECs:

I have a working student under the UNC-Chapel Hill Equestrian team coach/PE Teacher for the past 5 years.

I have had 2 jobs since I was 15.

I was on my Church's youth Council for 4 years, VP for 1 year, I expect to president senior year.

I've been teaching beginner riding at a summer camp for the past 3 years.

I may be volunteering with a Large Animal Vet this summer or trying to get a job at a local pharmacy.

I've bought, cared for and trained my horse (ex-racehorse) from the ground up with no financial help from my parents. I am very committed to her and that is where the majority of my time is spent out side of school.

I will not need financial aid. I am in-state for all below except VA Tech.

Chance me for: UNC-CH, NC State, VA Tech, Appalachian, UNC Charlotte, Campbell University.

Thanks!

UNC-CH is a reach due to low SAT–probably no for that one
NC State is a match…you will probably get in
VA Tech is also a match…but you are OOS so match/reach
Appalachian-match, probably will get in
UNC Charlotte-safety, definitely in
Campbell University-match, you are in

Overall it looks like you know what you are doing, 1 reach, many matches and some safeties…good luck, you will get into at least three of the ones you listed

I was just wondering how you get graded if you are home schooled…

I appreciate the chances, I know UNC is a reach but I suppose I’ll never know unless I apply, right? :D

Test/quizzes/assignments, just like any other classes. :)

Some my mom grades (using a teachers manual/guide), some classes are taken online (all of my English is online and all papers have been graded by outside sources), and the others are taken through a computer program that does it’s own grading.

Does anyone have any opinions on how my course load has been/will be?

I didn’t realize that there were AP online classes and that the test was available to homeschoolers until this year. Will this hurt my chance?

b u m p i t y

b u m p a g a i n

I’m just gonna keep bumping whenever I get bored. It’s always nice to get fresh opinions.

Good Morning! bump.

.:Anyone?:.
