Wheres your proof? The statistical data for CMU both ED and RD make it a reach for anyone.
Let me just say that I’ve seen it a few times.
Based on 2020 and 2021, I think low reach is still a reach. I wish GC’s would stop referring to low reach as things have drastically changed in the last two years. Also, many matches are doing more yield protection due to excessive applications.
The list looks fine to me but I think that OP is typical of most of the applicants of these schools and these schools still have low acceptance rates. I think OP’s research is likely to be the thing that gets him/her in the door.

Of course, it’s anecdotal. The only data (i.e. acceptance rates) made available by the school are even less useful than anecdotal evidences, because the school doesn’t reveal anything about its applicant pool and no one is an “average” applicant.
