Chance a junior for the Ivies! I'll chance back.

Hi everyone!
The time is right around the corner for me to be (at least beginning to think about) the scary world of college and the application process which comes with it. I would sooo appreciate any feedback I could get. I will likely be applying early decision to Columbia (my older sister goes to law school there and I am absolutely in love with it), but have considered Harvard EA because I adore Harvard too (who doesn't, let's be honest!) If you could give me any feedback on whether Harvard is at all possible (and I understand if it isn't), so I don't waste my time if I am just going to lose Columbia. Other top choices besides the Ivies include UChicago, Northwestern, Duke, Virgina. Thanks in advance for any help and advice you can give me (and be honest, I can take it!) Also, if you want me to chance you back, simply say so in your message or PM me!

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS POST LOOKS AMAZING! I think you will be a great canidate for Harvard and all the other top tier schools! GOOD LUCK!

Your ec’s are pretty solid. A lot of people take AP classes, but one way to take your high school academics to another level is to take college classes (if you’re near a semi-prestigioud university). It isn;t that difficult to take a class over the summer, although it is more intensive, requiring more time. It does show that you have a passion for your desired career path, and have taken the proper initiative. Since your older sister goes to Columbia Law, she is most definitely a well-read person. Have her read over your app several times, because she will know what’s going on as Law School app’s are equally if not far more rigorous.
BTW, these are all IMO^^
Chance me?

Looks good! I think the most important thing would be writing good essays at this point – there are a lot of people who have done impressive stuff, but don’t sound like real, interesting people in their essays. I’ve known kids from my school who have achieved remarkable things, but haven’t gotten into these kinds of schools because they wrote boring, self-praising essays – so be careful! But your app is obviously gonna look great.
