So I'm thinking about applying to Columbia University and I want to know how I stack up

My GPA is a 3.86 out of 4, I'm ranked 52/649, I made a 220 on the PSAT and will probably make National Merit Scholar Finalist and National Merit Hispanic Scholar, I made a 2140 on the SAT, a 34 on the ACT, I am taking 7 AP courses this year and next year and I took one last year, I am Mexican and my family makes around 50k a year, I'm from Houston, I am in National Honor Society and National Science Honor Society as well as being an officer for both, I am in Science Olympiad, I am in a community service organization, Computer Science UIL, Spelling Vocabulary UIL, Math UIL, and I'm the first in my family to attend college

good luck! you most likely will get in, but who knows for sure! i’m cuban and I am also hoping for Columbia or some other good schools, but i’m still a soph!

You have an outstanding chance as an Early Decision applicant. Actually, hell, you’ve got a great chance, period. The SAT and GPA are a shade on the low side (damn Ivies) but you’ve got a slew of awards and accolades that make up for it. Well done and good luck!
