Question: Should I retake SAT?

Thank you to everyone who chances me!!!?

Your application hinges on how your major activities are received. If your nonprofit, research and or publication are viewed as unique, you may be bumped into a pool where the acceptance rate is 50% or higher at the schools you have listed. If not, your academics and profile will slot you into a pool that’s about 10%. In all likelihood at least one of the schools you are applying to will consider your accomplishments worthy of the higher pool. At least that’s my opinion.

You should apply to at least several less
competitive schools, plus your state school.

The way you present your involvement in your nonprofit may be the critical factor at top schools - so make this a focus. Work closely with your guidance counselor or someone else with experience to make sure you nail this.

Best of luck

Also, it doesnt matter whether you retake sat. The extra points will be insignificant.
