Chance a worried junior

<h2>I originally posted this in the Dartmouth subforum, I haven't received any feedback :(</h2>

<p>I'm actually a junior right now, when I apply next year, it'll be to Dartmouth and Upenn (first picks, also applying ED to UPenn CAS), U of Chicago, Cornell, WUSTL, and Northwestern</p>

<p>Safety will be UMD (in state applicant)</p>

<p>Onward to stats!</p>

Double Legacy(@Dartmouth)
Highest Income bracket
Highly Competitive public high school (doesn't rank, likely top tenth of class)
Unweighted GPA: At the moment, it stands at around 3.76, it will likely either hover around there, or go up to about 3.8 by the time I'm done with junior year.
WGPA: 4.3, likely 4.45-4.5 by end of junior year
SAT-I: 2350
SAT-II Lit: 770
SAT-II World Hist.: 770</p>

<p>Junior Year course load:

AP Psychology
Honors Chemistry
Honors Latin-III
Pre-calculus</p>

<p>Senior Year course load:
AB Calculus

AP Human Geography
AP Chemistry (Double period)</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:</p>

<p>(Academic)
Junior Statesmen of America: Chapter Secretary (2yrs)
United States Politics and Debate Club: President (2yrs) (persuaded several local political figures to come in and speak)
Film Society: Vice President (2yrs)
AP US Government and politics tutor (2yrs) (helped tutor about a dozen kids to a 4 or 5 on the exam)
Student Ambassador (2yrs)</p>

<p>(Non-Academic)
Writer for a few sports news websites (not major like ESPN, HBO et cetera, but they receive a fair amount of web traffic)
200+ Hours of volunteer work at local charity shop and with developmentally challenged toddlers
Head Financial officer/Manager for student-run, humanitarian non-profit (I've recently helped secure several thousand dollars in grant money that is going towards helping upwards of 1500 people)
Volunteer boxing trainer for at-risk youth
Ron Paul 2012 volunteer (held information session at my school)</p>

<p>Recs:
As I'm a junior, I'm not quite sure how they'll turn out yet, but I've thought about asking my Lang teacher (I've only been in her class for 2 semesters, but I've known her for about 2 years) and my latin teacher (only latin teacher at my school, known since freshman year)</p>

<p>My counselor is one of those types who doesn't really know any kids by name (he's responsible for many, many kids though, so I guess that's understandable), I've tried to become more familiar with him, but I don't believe that I've really been successful.</p>

<p>So, what are my chances?</p>

<p>Thanks in advance guys</p>

<p>No love from you guys?</p>

<p>You look strong, with a caveat. I’ve seen Dartmouth punish legacies that don’t apply ED. I think you would have been a shoo in as an ED applicant, not it’s not so sure. This is important as these schools get uber competitive and have to reject the vast majority of legacies-if you want their love, they want yours first.</p>
