Well, if you’re nervous about having “even a remote chance” with those stats, I don’t want to meet the person with even the slightest bit of confidence ;)

All aspects of your resume are strong, so at this point it really comes down to how the admissions officers are feeling the day they read your application.

Ok, if you guys dont mind I have one last question. I plan on going premed in college and want to learn as much as possible at my undergrad. So, while Princeton would b my first choice, I am interested in HYS as well. However, I am not certain I stand a decent chance at any of those schools (like most people). So, I am ponderin applying ED to Rice (another school I like alot). Would applying there ED b wise…even though I would rather go to Princeton and the like?

I wouldn’t apply ED to Rice if I were you. If you got accepted, and could afford to go, you pretty much ruined your chances of applying to HYPS and seeing perhaps if you would have been accepted. ED is binding and thus if accepted, you must matriculate (in most cases). I’d advice against it, especially if Rice isn’t even your first choice! ED is supposed to be used if the school you are applying ED to is your first choice school.

O also guys, regarding my courseload…while it is the “most difficult” courseload at my school, I have only taken 2 years of foreign lanugage (freshman and sophomore years). Would it b in my best interest to take spanish 3 senior year…or is admission possible without it?

Really? That kind of false modesty is truly irritating. Someone whose numbers are way weaker than yours has a “remote chance of acceptance into this fine university” (but the truth is that you and this hypothetical person probably have fairly even chances of admission).

That being said, admission is definitely possible without taking Spanish 3 in your senior year. However, I think it would really help you to take more than just two years of language, especially if two years of language is a graduation requirement at your school.
