Chance a nervous transfer?

Hi there!

I’m getting nervous with how long it’s taken to hear from UW.

In state community college student (TCC)
Just finishing my first year and attempting to transfer.

Essay was very good 9/10.

Current College GPA: 3.93
High School GPA (I didn’t try that hard and found motivation over the summer): 3.6
ACT: 26

Classes Taken:
Intro to Inorganic Chem: 4.0
General Chemistry (161): 4.0

Java Programming I&II: 4.0

English I: 3.7
English II 4.0

Precal I:4.0
Precal II: 3.7
Calculus I: 4.0
Çalculus II (Currently in during summer quarter): Estimated 4.0

You haven’t finished 90 credits? I think you wouls get accepted to the general admission but not the department since you haven’t completed 90 credits yet.

@thaipq That was the goal, I plan on applying to the program next spring!

Ohh, my bad. What’s your major?

Electrical or Computer Engineering, not sure which, so I’m completing the prerequisites for both programs.

I see, you should take Physics series and adv math such as differential equation and linear algebra to improve your chance.

@JakeMadian For the programs you need all prereqs completed and graded by the July 1 app dates so probably no luck there. Looks like you have a great chance at the school and really good chance at your engi program next year. You need to finish your calc series and Engi physics 1/2.
