Hi all~
I'm currently studying at an international school in China (not one of the "big name" ones).
I'm not a legacy or an URM, and my prospective major is business.
My grades are okay, but my SAT is weaker in comparison. I am in a lot of clubs at school, but nothing stellar.
I'm pretty sure I should have one "glowing recommendation letter", the other I'm not very sure about.

SAT:
2140 (700 math, 760 crit reading, 680 writing, 8 essay)
superscore: 2180
I'm planning to take it again in October, so hopefully I can break the 2200s or higher

SAT2:
Bio=750, Lit=700

Gradewise, I have a 3.91 unweighted GPA. I take the IB diploma, and I'm guessing I'll get five 7s and one 6, if that helps at all.

Current courses:
English Language&Literature HL
Economics HL
Biology HL
Chinese A SL
Art SL
Math SL

I took AP world history in my sophomore year and got a 5 on the exam, and I was in all of the honors classes my school offered (english, history, math) from freshie to sophomore year.

EC's/afterschool activities:
Editor in chief of school newspaper
National Honor Society (going to run for leadership position)
National Chinese Honor Society (treasurer)
Member of Roots and Shoots group at school
Peer tutoring (applying for leadership position)
Member of dance-planning committees
Member of school chapter of Global Issues Network
(pretty mundane, compared to some other resumes on CC, I know)

Other:
-ABRSM piano level 8, played for 10 years
-completed an internship at a Chinese bank
-completed an internship at an education support center
-participated in a summer camp program for underprivileged high schoolers in a rural town near Beijing
-can speak/read/write fluently Mandarin Chinese
-I love to draw and do fashion design sketches, but I haven't showcased this at all
Schools:
Stanford
Harvard
Dartmouth
UPenn
Cornell
Columbia
(honestly, I know I am very unlikely to even have a chance at any of the above, but my parents insist I apply anyways)

UC Berkeley
USC
UCLA
Northwestern
U North Carolina, Chapel Hill
Univ Toronto
McGill
Queen's
York
Univ of Western Ontario
NYU
Univ of Michigan
Univ of Chicago
Carnegie Mellon

(I hold a Canadian passport, if it helps)
I haven't started on any essays yet (shame), but people tell me my writing is pretty good

Any school recommendations are welcome too

Thanks a bunch! Will chance back!
