Hi sparkboy123 --- I'll chance you ... but can you chance me as well? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/538677-please-chance-me-i-d-really-really-appreciate.html.

First off, your thread title is absolutely horrible. It makes you sound demanding and impolite ... that's why no one has chanced you so far ... generally, intriguing thread titles do the trick ... I'm just saying that for future reference.

Your UW GPA of 3.8 is good, and you've clearly challenged yourself with more difficult classes such as AP and Accelerated classes. Something that also stands out in your grade transcript is your upward grade trend ... even though your courseload is getting progressively more difficult. That's good ... very good. However, I will note that UMich does drop all non-academic courses (including orchestra), so you'll have to recalculate your GPA for UMich. Just to clarify something, they don't have a ED program, they have a Non-restrictive Early Action program. Your SAT I is very good, as well as your SAT Subjects. Your ECs are very good, but I don't know if you have any leadership in those ECs. I like how you play classical Indian music ... interesting!

Overall, you're a good student. I'm gonna say that UMich is a very good school; however, OOS admissions tend to be more selective than admissions for IOS, and OOS students will get hammered by extremely high tuition rates (last I checked it was $38,000 for OOS --- I'm IOS so I get a 75% off discount!) ... what makes the matter worse for you is that UMich has a very bad financial aid program. (They care too much about research than to worry about undergrad students.) However, you're making a very good choice b/c UMich is known as "Harvard of the West" because as a public school, it has a WORLDWIDE reputation ... you'll go very far with a UMich degree. I can tell you're interested in Econ/Business, judging from your ECs ... you can also plan to apply for the Ross Business School Preadmit Program ... it's highly selective (they admit about 150 people/year), but it's very worth it b/c you'll have a BBA degree in 3 years from one of the most prestigious and respected business schools in the US (or world for that matter). I am gonna note that you will need to write another essay for the Preadmit program.

Chances:
NYU: Safety match
UMich OOS: Match
UPenn: Reach
Carnegie Mellon: Match
UVA OOS: Match
Georgetown: Match
Univ of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign OOS: Safety match
Babson: Not familiar, but I heard they specialize in business.

Good luck, and remember to chance me too!
