Chance a student from Bosnia! please!

<p>Hello everyone.
I am an international student from Bosnia and Herzegovina (Europe).
I am applying to American colleges this fall and my first choice is ConnColl. </p>

<p>My GPA: 4.86/5
School does not rank
Even though they don't require SAT I will take it in October. Aiming for 1900+
SAT II: taking in November ; Math I should be around 700-750 if not higher, Biology 750-800</p>

<p>I want to have a double major: Biochemistry and Intl Relations</p>

<p>EC's and awards: </p>

<p>Student Body President for a year and a member for 4 consecutive years
Community manager of one British online community of young leaders and entrepreneurs. I was the founder of their council in my country.
Founder of the national club that is a part of one global movement that was chosen as one of the world's top 100 projects for this century
Member of one national NGO and as such, was a national representative in 3 seminars that were set up by the European Union, participated in loads of national training courses, workshops and seminars, volunteered at one international festival and this summer will be volunteering at World Skydiving Championship
300+ volunteer hours
Dancer for 5 years. Have held free classes for kids from impecunious families
worked on the British Council's global project ''Connecting Classrooms'' for 2 years</p>

<p>won the first place at the national competition ( projects were related to youngsters and human rights ) in 2012 and 2013
won the second place at the international competition for the best innovation
won the second place at the Researchers' night that is held in more then 300 European cities each year
have been awarded an excellence scholarship for an outstanding academic performance for 4 consecutive years by the Ministry of Education
Intern at one of the world's biggest companies - the internship is related to the UK government and their global program for entrepreneurs</p>

<p>Annual income is below 20,000 $ so I will need a lot of FA.</p>

<p>You have the grades and the ECs, but will they be enough to give you the financial aid you need? Very hard to say. My advice is not to have a “top choice” but to apply to as many schools as you can afford to. Some should be in the south/central/western part of the US because there is less competition from other international students. Also, don’t discount women’s colleges - some can be generous. ConnColl is my first choice and I really would like to go there, but I have another 10 schools where I will apply as well. Some of them are less competitive than ConColl, but still munificent. Mount Holyoke seems to be a great school for international students. They have an international population of nearly 26 percent and the amount of money they give to internationals is insane. </p>
