Chance a very worried Frenchman

Hello! I was born in the states, specifically new jersey, but my parents came here about two years before I was born. In the future, I would love to specialize as some type of doctor, maybe a surgeon or neurologist, or cardiologist. But enough of a background, I'll tell you what I've been doing in highschool:

Freshman year: (School doesn't give A+'s)
-CP Geometry A
-CP Physics A
-Honors History A
-CP English 1 A
-German I A
Haha, easy classes I know. I was a bit of a slacker in middle school, but I assure you that is behind me. Freshman year was... and interesting transition. I had a 4.0 that year.

Freshman EC's: None! I'm very shy, and as I said it was hard for me to find anything that interested me that year.

Sophomore year:
-Honors Algebra II or Trigonometry A
-AP Chemistry (5) A
-AP World History (5) A
-Honors English II A
-German II A
A much better year, I think. Straight A's once again. I'll list the EC's later.

Junior year:
--Honors Pre-calculus
-AP Biology (I'm very good at biology, definitely 5 on test and A in class)
-AP US History (Probably 5, A in class)
-AP English Language (Iffy test, probably a 4, A in class)
-AP Psychology (Expecting a 5, very easy, A in class)
-German III honors A
Not much to say about this year.

Senior year schedule:
-AP Calculus BC
-AP Physics B
-AP Microeconomics/Geography (School melds them into one class)
-AP English Literature
-German IV honors
In addition to these, I'll also be taking the AP french test (wonder why?) and possibly AP environmental science (a friend told me it was easy, he self-studied it)

SAT Stuff:
Math: 750
CR: 790
Writing: 790

SATII:
Bio - E: 800
US History: 800
Math II: 770

So I have a 4.0 unweighted, weighted idon't know what it is.

Now, onto my Extracurriculars:

In school:
-XC, junior varsity team soph-junior year, probably varsity senior year
-Varsity Tennis soph-junior year, definitely senior year
-Model UN, soph-junior year, officer for senior year (basically leadership)
-French honor society soph-senior year
-Future medical profession club soph-junior year, officer senior year
-National honor society soph-senior year
-Botany club soph year
-Every 15 minutes/SADD junior year, lead role (kind of like leadership)

Over summer:
-Internal Drive (Tech camp) 1 week freshman-soph summer
-Summer Med program/hospital exploration freshman-soph summer (actually kinda competitive, but local and otherwise unknown)
-Body, mind and health summer Cornell program soph-junior year
-TASP This summer, as well as working on getting an internship at the neurology or gastroenterology department at a nearby hospital.
-Job at Supermarket/Golf Course for all summers, but didn't show up too often.

Volunteer:
-Likely a grand total of around 400+ hours volunteering at local hospital
-A couple of church-related garden things.

Awards:
-National Merit Finalist (PSAT: 225)
-A german award at school
-AP Scholar
-Various math awards
-Various other things

I go to a very good public high school in New Jersey. (Maybe I'm being swayed by their propaganda, lol, but I hear it is good)

lastly, the schools I want to go to!:

-University of Pennsylvania (Def. number one choice)
-Johns Hopkins University (number two!)
-Cornell!
-Brown
-U-Chicago
-Duke
-Notre Dame
-Rice
-Rutgers (Safety, actually)

Thanks in advance!

Are you just guessing about your National Merit Finalist status? The process of applying for Finalist status doesn’t start until beginning of senior year, or so I thought.
Solid ECs and great SAT I and II scores. I’m not going to chance for individual colleges, but you definitely have a shot at all of them, although it’s important to remember that some of the top-tier schools you’re applying to (ie Penn,Brown) can be crapshoots (as I’m sure you’ve heard before lol). Good luck!

haha, yes I am guessing I made it from what I got. thanks, the only thing I am very worried about is my freshman year. I know it isn’t challenging at all, and I also had no Ec’s that year either. I know that freshman year isn’t taken into as much consideration as other years, but will that hurt me more than I think it will?
