<p>Hey all, just another worried senior hoping you guys could chance me. </p>
<p>Background: I go to a somewhat unanimous top 20 private school that sends 15% of class every year to ivy league. </p>
<p>GPA: 3.9635 (one B+, 3 A-)
SAT: 2360 (760 CR)
Subject tests: 800 on all (US History, Math level 2, Physics)
AP: 4 5s and 1 4
Class rank: school doesn't do</p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
Cross country 4 yrs
Microfinance club 4 years (voted pres junior and senior year)
Service Club 3 years (presdient all 3)
Investment club 3 years (founder and president)
Honor council 3 years (must be voted on and in charge of upholding school's honor code)
ASB Treasurer 2 years (got lucky and won it for junior year)
Finacnial literacy community 50ish hours
Debate 2years (quit after 10th grade)</p>
<p>I think you have a pretty strong chance. Your interest in finance really shows, but…they’re “crapshoots” for everyone. Worry less; the application process is supposed to be fun :D! I’m only a rising junior, and I would kill to be writing essays instead of stressing about tests right now, lol. </p>
<p>I would suggest you apply to a few safeties and low matches, but honestly i think that there’s a huge chance you will get accepted by ONE of these. but dont be that unlucky kid with 0 acceptances by spring, and being stressed out on a bunch of waitlists, cuz that’s also a possibility</p>
<p>Thanks Guys. @brickthelegend It’s tough…I know. Even having connections doesn’t work. That’s why I went small. Just go to a local company or Bank of America or w/e, and ask if you can work with them. In fact, you can even go to some big company in a local city (I did this this summer), and ask to work with their Treasury dept. If you come off as genuine, it will definitely help, but for the once acceptance I got, I had almost 100 rejections. </p>
