So I think that's about it. Chances for:

HYPS
Northwestern
Pomona college
Columbia
Brown
UWSTL

Any other suggestions? Am I aiming too high? Oh and my intended major is environmental science with the possibility of premed. I am open to applying ED/EA but I'm just not sure that I have a top choice.

Under normal circumstances, HYPS, Brown, and Columbia would be high reaches and the rest would be Low Reaches/High matches. But top schools always want to add geographic diversity (they want to be able to claim that the student body represents all 50 states) and so, it confers you a pretty big advantage. Academics are decent and ECs are ok and with the hook, you’d be a viable candidate for HYP.

probably in at Northwestern, Pomona, and WUSTL. HYPSBC are all going to be reaches. Being from Alaska will help. Good luck!
