Probably good enough

@PurpleTitan yeah lol my thought as well… my concern is that IR degree is more competitive

Indeed. That’s why I didn’t say “definitely good enough”.

Amazing IR program at StA. Good luck.

@AriBenSion thank you!

Your post makes me think that you don’t know very much about the university or about what it would be like to actually attend. In particular, you present a lot of entirely irrelevant factors - do you know which those are?

Anyway, if you have applied already it doesn’t matter what anybody here says.

@collegemom3717 Thanks! I’ve actually done extensive research, and Im well aware that most of the information I listed above is completely irrelevant to their admissions process, ecs and the sort… these were my stats I copy and pasted, which may give readers more context. Furthermore, all of that info is on my common app, which is how I applied.

Luckily you are American which will make getting in more likely. Only 8% of UK applicants who applied as IR majors were admitted last year.

UPDATE: IN for just international relations, not for modern languages, wierd lol bc i thought modern languages would be an easier acceptance than international relations and my current modern language grades are really good lol. Super excited tho!!

congrats @qwxmntklp! it’s a great program.

Congrats. You will still be able to enroll in language courses in first year. If you do well you may be allowed to continue.

@VickiSoCal Thanks! I definitely would do so if I attend
