<p>APPLYING TO : Andover, SPS, Choate, Deerfield, Exeter, Peddie, and Loomis- </p>

<p>Race:Asian
Financial: need full
SSAT- 95 percent, (98 verbal, 75 math-yikes, 94 reading)
applying as- 10th grade repeat
FLUENT IN KOREAN</p>

<p>School
-currently attending a top 50 school, have straight a's except a C plus in spanish three honors. =( yeah ik it stinks. So I have 6 A's and one C plus. Last year my gpa was 3.0 flat (I know this really stinks, but I had huge family issues, and schools are understanding, I had no electricity or internet at my house, and had to commute three hours a day to school, trust me it affects ur grades) Most of my classes are honors except Alg. 2. My gpa this year is currenly 3.8, so add that with the 3.0 and u get- 3.4 gpa. Mind you, i do go to top 50 public school who sends about 20 kids to ivy per year.</p>

<p>Recs-
Should be fantastic, my english honors teacher showed me what she wrote (even photocopied a copy for me to see), and said I was one of the most pleasant and knowledgeable students she ever taught. My math teacher, isj ust a nice person in general, should be decent, I have an A in the class, and I'm polite and all. My other recs were done by my public speaking teacher, who im pretty close with. While my other ec recs were done by my TAEKWONDO master, he is curently the chairman of education at Kukkiwon (capital of taekwondo in the world) He is a close family friend, and told them how I'm dedicated, and managed to stay strong through tough family times.</p>

<p>Essay-
Wrote on all diff topics, I showed my teacher and I made her laugh and cry which I take as a good sign and was able to to connect </p>

<p>Interviews- Never had an issue with interviews, most of my interviews lasted an hour (which im told is longer then usual)-I had to suffer from mean glares of ppl waiting for their shot. They told me I'd be a great member of the school, and an interesting fellow. They told me not to worry about my grades last year and keep up the good work, they loved my ecs, and I got postcards from my interviewers at Exeter, Andover, Deerfield, SPS, Choate, and Peddie. They all told me I did great at the interview and looking forward to seeing me again.</p>

<p>Now the fun part--- ECS</p>

<p>Football- Varsity player as soph. year.. Sent tape, talked and emailed with all coaches. You can check out my previous threads if u want proof. As of now my standings are

Exeter- Top 5 recruit </p>

<p>Andover- Top 3 recruit (coach said, I'll do everything iin my power to help u with admission)</p>

<p>SPS- Priority list- still talking to coach, told me i had his full support as a coach. hes also on admission</p>

<p>Choate- Top 3- Check out my previous thread</p>

<p>Deerfield- Top 5- coach told me im ready to play at the next level (College) Hed
recommend me to admission, and told me that he was coming out to cali in the summer and looking forward to meeting me.</p>

<p>Loomis- top 5- talked to caoch showed alot interest</p>

<p>Peddie- #1 recruit regarding underclassmen. He said hed sent me workout plans over the summer, which is a good sign baiscally thinking im part of the team rite?</p>

<p>My other ecs</p>

<p>Taekwondo-3rd degree black belt- won 2 young adult national championships in sparring and forms (11 years)</p>

<p>Zen Buddhism- started a club at my school, and plan on starting one at the school i get accepted too (3 years)</p>

<p>Flute- 10 years- im mediocre, not that spectacular</p>

<p>Korean drums- 5 years travel squad</p>

<p>Government- moved 6 times in my life- eleceted to government every year from 3rd grade till now</p>

<p>Model UN- 3 outstandings 2 commendations and 2 gavels</p>
