The schools i am planning on applying to are Northeastern, Penn State, Maryland College Park, uconn, Drexel, and suny buffalo

My main concern is that it didnt take enough hard classes. Only 5 aps and 5 honors with 2 college courses idk if that enough for the schools I want to go. I am also worry that until my senoir year I have only take 1 advanced science/math class. However despite my lack of advanced math and science classes I love math and science. I havent dropped below a 90 in any quarter except for 1 in geometry.
Also i am hispanic!

my classes are a little skewked so to clarify

I don’t think you should be worried about course rigor. For the schools you are applying to, they will love to see an applicant with 5+ APs and other college level courses. Make sure you emphasize your love of math and science in your essays so colleges can see that you are passionate about them. Otherwise, you look good for these schools.

I applied to NEU EA with a GPA a little higher than yours and a…2050? SAT from my first attempt at it. I got in with a fairly handsome financial reward. I’d say that you have a pretty good chance there, if you keep all your stats where they are. UConn should also be a pretty easy in for you, as I got in there with the same stats as NEU.

You will definitely get into Penn State. If you’re still a little worried, you can put down that you’re “Undecided” or that you are going to want to enter another major they let a lot of people into without much fuss, and then change it on your first day (once your eLion account is activated). A lot of my friends actually did that because they wanted to go for Architecture, but they don’t let a lot of people into that major initially. (I go to Penn State now).

Your stats are definitely good enough for all of those schools, I don’t know why you’re so nervous. I’d take a 3.7 GPA any day. EC’s aren’t fantastic, but unless it’s an Ivy who chooses from perfect GPAs and SAT’s, it won’t matter all that much

I would say you have a decent shot at most of those schools. Northeastern; however, is a bit of a stretch. I say about a 1880 could get you in but that my opinion.

you seem like you have a good-great chance at these schools!
for northeastern, you’ll probably want to raise your SAT score a bit, but there’s plenty of time for that, so just consider retaking, shooting for more of a 1900-2000 if you want to have great chances there.
