Chance me for Northeastern!!

Currently, I'm a High school Junior in an extremely competitive public high school in NJ. Northeastern is my dream school and i'm working very hard to get in. I would appreciate anyone who would chance me on an acceptance/if i'm on the right track!

I appreciate anyone who can chance me!!

I don’t think we can chance you until you get your ACT scores.
I also don’t know much about Northeastern.
But in analyzing your resume overall, I think that your challenging course load and your numerous ECs look good. Your 3.68 GPA is a little low, I think you should work on getting that up.
Also, are you sure you want to take all those APs in your senior year? Next year, you’ll need to do college apps 1st semester, and you will get senioritis 2nd semester…

All of your numbers look good, but I’m with basketweaver in questioning the heavy course plans for your senior year. If you had a difficult time getting into the swing of things this year, it will be even more challenging next year with the addition of more APs and the college application process. Especially since schools place importance on the first markings of your senior year, I’d advise you to take less and try to excel in those you do take. Your extra-curriculars and test scores will help make up for less APs.

NEU: Aim for 30+/2050+

Thank You very much for all the replies!
All of the AP’s are the next step from what i’m doing now. For example, we don’t have an Honors Spanish, Honors History or Honors Math course beyond Junior year so I would have to take APs (which i’m all for!). I tried to shape my course load so it would have a logical progression over my four years, like this:

English I (H) -> English II (H) -> AP English Language -> AP English Literature

World History (H) -> US History I (A) -> US History II (H) - AP Economics (mac and mic are one class)

Geometry (A) -> Algebra II (H) -> Pre-Calc/Trig (H) -> AP Calc AB + AP Stat (I want to go into business so getting these two in are important to me)

Spanish II (A) -> Spanish III (H) -> Spanish IV (H) -> AP Spanish

I hope this clarifies why I try to push myself! (I’m also not too worried about senioritis; after AP exams I will have an entire month and a half free (my school ends in late June)).

Thanks Again!!!
