<p>Me: White jewish male from a top private school in NYC, no financial aid needed, no alumni connection.</p>
<p>For the record: My school doesn't do class rank, GPA, NHS, or offer many classes designated as AP ( for example, all our history and english courses are AP level but aren't technically designated as such)</p>
<p>9th and 10th grade I got mostly A-'s and B+'s, last year I brought it up, and this year I should maintain similar grades, possibly getting straight A / A-s, although in my math class that's only because I'm not taking calc.</p>

<p>Last summer I did a service trip to islands off the coast of panama and did an internship at a company in the film business in New York, this summer I went to spain and did a homestay and took spanish classes, and did an internship at an art appraisal company in New York.</p>
<p>I expect my essays and recommendations to be strong.</p>
