Hey, I just found this forum and hope to pose some question intending to get necessary information, hopefully!

Here some biographical facts about me.

Currently, I am in my first semester at an high-ranked and renowned Law School in Germany. It is going very well so far. Nevertheless, I am considering my future prospects, on the other hand. I intend to focus on corporate and commercial law hoping to gain profound knowledge in the field of law and business. Ultimately, I am aiming at working for a major law firm.

This was actually the way it should go before my father throw another idea onto the table. He founded a company specializing in road building and civil underground engineering four years ago, having exceeded the point of 1 million euros as the annual total revenue for the first time. He is considering me to accept his inheritance later, when I finish law education. As I am interested both in business and in law respectively in the collision and interdependences of those two fields, I would feel amazed to be in charge of the company as a manager.
Consequently, I was thinking of pursuing a MBA degree in the US after my law education, ideally at Harvard, Stanford or Columbia Business School.

My first question: Which are the general requirements for getting accepted to one of these programs (grades,GMAT)? Is having a law background rather untypical?
2.. Could it help if I am already having a management position by the time of applying?

I was also thinking of a LLM programm, particularly at one of these schools. Are there any programs enabling you to acquire both a MBA and a LLM?

I am thanking you in advance.
