Chance an Internation IB student!! Please!!

I've now finished the IB and I got 34 points... don't really know if that's good or not.

I'm getting my SATs soon, and will probably do well - its the only test I'm good at. Hypothetically speaking, say I got 2200 and for my SAT and in the subject tests in Physics - 750 and Literature - 700.

GCSE's: 4 A*, 4A, 2B

My EC's are average to good... can't be bothered to list them. Assuming good teacher reccomendations and a good essay, what kind of schools should I consider.

I was thinking: UCLA, NYU, Northeastern, George Washington, Cornell (my super high reach), Berkely, UVA, USC, University of Chicago.

Lastly, could my chances considerably improve if I were to get 2300+ on the SAT when I retake? I think with some work, it's do-able.

I’m also an IB Student! I got a prediction score of 39, but I wouldn’t say 34 is not that bad. It would have been better if it were above 35 but seeing that you are good at SAT (which I’m horrible at) gives you a fair chance to go for those schools. If you were to get 2300+ on the SAT, then that would be a HUGE boost up no kidding. Still, it really depends on the rigors of courses like how many higher levels you are taking and what you grades are for each subject. Looks like you did you well on the Physics exam on Oct. 9th, which I messed up completely on, which also gives you a good chance as well. I would say that University of Chicago, Cornell, and Berkeley will be a reach and the other schools will be a match. Good Luck!

Thanks!!!
