Essays
Amazing

Thanks in advance guys!

What happened with your SAT? GPA is good (assuming UC GPA of 4.0, not sure how you went from 3.6 to 4.0), extracurriculars are good. I’m sure your essays are indeed “amazing” (as they must be), but you might need an extra bump if you don’t re-take the SAT (or take the ACT).

Also, as a former Republican before college, if you do attend Cal (or, frankly, wherever you end up) I encourage you to challenge your views in every possible way. You may be surprised what you realize about the world (or you might turn into a white supremacist…I’ve seen that too). Good luck!

Both SAT and GPA are little low for OSS. For your reference, 2013 admitted students’ average SAT score for NJ, PA and NY was 2202 and average UW GPA was 3.92.

Yah, my UC Gpa is a 4.00 because of the weighting scale. I know how liberal Berkeley is hahah, but that really doesnt dissuade me from wanting to go there. So Berkeley is probably a reach then aye? Guess I will just cross my fingers :P
