Thank you.

With a 1900 you would have a shot at UCSB and UCI. Both have an average UC GPA of 4.0 and average SAT scores about 1870. They would be reaches, but I think Irvine especially could happen as it’s not as popular with OOS students. For the others, it’s probably not likely with both GPA and SAT below their averages (4.2/2050 for the top 2, 4.1/2000 for SD). good luck!

Great! Just the news I’d like to hear. Luckily, UCSB is my first choice, and as I saw the out-of-state population of the school was only 4%, I figured that my chances were strengthened.

I think you have a decent shot with all of the above except UC-Berkely and UCLA. Retake the SAT and try to hit about 2000, anything more than that and you’re good to go. The GPA is a bit weak too but if you improve other parts of your app. like your essays and ECs then you would have a good shot with all the UCs.

Last thing: REALLY consider taking a different Subject Test. The Bio score doesn’t read well at all on your application.

Chance back?

Thank you all for the replies. It is greatly appreciated.

USB is your best bet. It’s not UCLA or Cal, but hey, it’s in a pretty EPIC location.

Bump. I would love some more opinions.
