Not getting interviewed

I actually changed my mind: I will get interviewed, but I have not gotten interviewed yet.

Grades: 10/10
Test Scores: 8.5/10 (SAT Math section is good, but overall score could be a little higher)
EC’s: 7/10 - Your music activities are good, but you don’t seem to be part of any math or science clubs. CIT cares a lot about interest in math and science, especially for a major as rigorous as ECE.
Volunteering: You have interesting volunteer experiences, but they won’t get much attention from adcom unless you write about them in a supplement essay. No rating due to irrelevance.
Work Experience: 4/10 - Many ECE applicants have done research, science camps, governors school, or science fairs. You don’t seem to have any of those, so keep that in mind.
Awards: 6/10 - Decent awards, but I don’t think they’ll help you that much

At the moment, I’d say ECE is still a mid to low reach. Make sure you apply to other colleges at CMU to increase your chances of getting in.

Well if I don’t get into CIT I’m probably not going anyway, since I want to do engineering and don’t want the hassle of trying to transfer in when I might not even be able to.
