I feel like this is all too little....any suggestions to boost my chances? Please answer honestly. Thanks in advance

For NYU thats a decent chance but for Cornell improve the SAT I and start plannign for SAT IIs. Also improve your GPA. Your ECs seem average however find one EC where you can take it to new levels, to something special that most people cannot achieve. If you can do that it will be a great advantage.

If your artworks are truly that great, submit a supplement! Your charity efforts are highly-commendable, and I think it can make for a great essay.

You should try to basically have as close to a 4.0 UW GPA this year, just to raise your overall GPA, have an upward trend, and improve rank. Course rigor seems good, but you need to do well in those classes to prove to colleges that you can handle hard work.

Even if you get, say, a 2250 SAT 1, and assume you ace the SAT 2s, Cornell would still be a reach, especially in the RD round, just because of their unpredictability. But with higher scores, yes, you will have a better shot, though I can’t say how much better exactly.

If you feel like your ECs might be weak or not enough, just spend more time devoted to them. You don’t need a million ECs, just passion, and to be able to convey that passion in your essays. Because you’re an ORM, it might be tougher for you to get into a school of Cornell’s caliber, but keep trying! You might want to add more match schools, or even some more reaches if you’d like. Just apply where you think you’ll be happy, and hopefully it all works out for you!
