Chance At The Kennedy School?

Hi!

I'm interested in applying to Kennedy's MPP program, but don't know if I stand a chance of being admitted. I finished undergrad with a 2.2-ish GPA (underwhelming, I know), and got into to my undergrad's Masters International program (combined graduate/Peace Corps program). I finished the academic requirements with a 3.8 GPA, and recently completed my Peace Corps service. While searching for professional degree programs that offer Peace Corps fellowships, I came across the Kennedy website, and fell in love with the idea of attending. Considering how I started out, I think I've rebounded pretty nicely. My GRE score was decent, but I'm thinking of taking it again to bolster my application. Am I way off for even considering this? I think I've distinguished myself from who I used to be, but it may not be enough. And, although I don't take pride in using it, I am an African-American female. Will that make a difference? Affirmative action is fine for others, but I'd like for my accomplishments to be considered above anything else. I contacted someone at the Kennedy about my chances, but they only gave me the "our admissions process is holistic, etc." response, which doesn't help me. Anyone have any insight? Thanks!

I just noticed that there is a completely different section for grad school applicants. My bad! Please disregard.
