<p>hey everyone! so I'm a white male from NY @ a large public high school.</p>

<p>I'm applying either early action or regular decision to the following schools. Im undecided about my major but it's either going to be pharmacy or computer science, so I really need to make up my mind.</p>

<p>Boston College (Reach)
Wake Forest (Reach)
U. of Richmond (Reach)
I'm unsure whether the following are matches or safeties:
Marist
Butler
U. of Connecticut (Only applying for pharmacy program)
U. of Rhode Island (Only applying for pharmacy program)
SUNY Buffalo</p>

<p>UW GPA: 3.8
W GPA: 4.1
Rank: 40/900 TOP 5%
SAT: 2020
ACT: 29 (retaking this saturday, predicting 31/32)
APs: US History-3, English lang-3</p>

<p>Senior Schedule:
AP Chem
AP Calc BC
AP English Lit
AP Computer Science
AP Spanish</p>

<p>Average ECs:
2 yrs Varsity spring track
1 year varsity winter track
Operation Donation Club
Volunteer at local food pantries, community soccer club + soccer tryouts + concession stand.</p>

<p>I would say Boston College would be a high match, not a reach.</p>

<p>Agree with tomofboston. A 2100 on the SAT or 31/32 on ACT might even put in the the match region.</p>

<p>I said you were a high match at BC due to your limited EC’s. Your SAT score is in the average range for BC and would not be a problem.</p>

<p>You don’t have great extra curriculars, but you have strong academics. Your reaches are good matches for you. I think that with great essays you will definitely be able to get in. Marist is a safety to low match. Uconn and URI are definitely safeties, but if they have good pharmacy programs, then they are great for you. I’m not familiar with Butler, but I also think SUNY Buffalo would be a safety. Best of Luck!</p>
