<p>I am thinking about applying to Brown ED. What do you think my chances are?</p>

<p>Meh, at the present time, probably a mid/high reach, since your test scores are lower than those of the stereotypical Asian…AA sucks, does it not…</p>
<p>Well if they wanted diversity and you have little to offer then they have a good reason to reject you. I mean not to sound critical here but your application is a typical one from many Asians. You don’t seem to having to bring to Brown. Lets look it this way, people who volunteer to help disabled kids play baseball could potentially start an organization that is similar at Brown. Or people who are good at research (say discovered a negative effect of a chemical in nature) can potentially help make novel discoveries at Brown. Or a very good orchestra player who can become a member of the orchestra. Those are the people that Brown wants. Brown’s reason of rejecting Asian isn’t because they are Asian, they bring little or nothing to the table that would look impressive and Brown would want them to continue at Brown University.</p>
