Hello, I am currently a rising senior and am curious about the scholarship opportunities LMU offers. I have heard they are, more or less, generous with them.

I have a 4.33 gpa with a 2110 SAT scores and really want a full ride for LMU. Is this a possibility?

I have never heard of a “full ride” from LMU. Not many schools give “full rides”.

I got a full ride to LMU this past year. With the same GPA and slightly lower SAT scores. So I’d say there is a fairly good chance of you getting a good amount of aid. Make your essays interesting and thought provoking.

They only offer full-rides to I think 10-20 students, so while you have good stats you should probably be realistic about your chances. I had a higher SAT score than you (don’t know about GPA because I didn’t go through the American high school curriculum - but I did have a high IB score) I got a partial scholarship, but did not get invited to interview for the half and full-rides. It takes more than great stats I think - you have to really stand out from the crowd. With your good scores and hopefully good extra-curriculars and essays, I’m sure you have a shot at a partial scholarship at least, but while you may be eligible for the full-ride, it only caters to about 1% of the admitted students, so don’t rely too heavily on getting one. Good luck!

I agree with flippyadomp. Don’t bank on getting a full scholarship, but you do have a chance. College admission can get pretty random.
