Chance for Andover, Cate, Peddie, NMH

sigh Going down this road again. Thanks for your time.

I'm applying for eighth grade year and I'm a financial aid applicant. I scheduled all my interviews and. Was wondering what my chances are. Here we go:

Photography: 5 years for recreational use but I'm really getting interested in it this year
Tennis: Took lessons in elementary and starting league this fall...so 2 years?
I'm an unpaid "intern." Worked for 30+ hours
Starting CS because mom's friend recommended it to me

Grades:

Sixth Grade: I did pretty good, a few B's here and there bu A's mostly

Seventh: Same as sixth but got a C in math for the last trimester

Eighth: Really good. I'm getting A's in all my classes

SSAT:

On two practice tests I got a 75% an then 87%. Aiming for the 70-80 range

Thanks for your time.

I don’t know of any school you are applying to besides Andover, but I’d say that your should take on more extracurriculars. I’m going into 7th, and I’m doing Community Service, Student Council, and a few other big things. If your only a few months away from your interview, then I would suggest really expending on your current ones. (Photography, Tennis…) It’s still not to late to do a bit of Community Service, though.

Thanks Brookie.

Bump it up. 10 char

Buuuuummmmmpppp.

So many students have lists upon lists of extracurriculars. Try getting involved with your school more. Establish yourself in leadership positions. If your school doesn’t have any clubs of your interest, CREATE one. So many people have good grades, and even a perfect transcript doesn’t guarantee admission to top schools.
