Chance for Columbia, Cornell, JHU, NYU and Georgetown? Will chance back.

I'm a senior in a high school in a small town of Ohio. What are my chances in Columbia, Cornell, JHU, NYU (7 yr dental) and Georgetown? Thanks!

asian isn’t a URM…

I never said it was…?

you have it under hooks, or is that just your formatting? Oh ok. I got it now. Ehh, I would say reach for all. I have about the same stats except I only got a 700 and 750 for my subject tests and I am a URM. Maybe we will see each other at Georgetown or JHU :)

Yeah, sorry, I see where you could have thought that. Perhaps! :)

JHU: High Match/Match

JHU: High Match

Good luck!

Why dentistry? If you explain this very well it will be nice.

I’m not very familiar with Superior Cognitive Ability and Midwest Academic Talent Search so if those are really competitive competition awards then that would definitely increase your chances. Your rank is a little low but that could be indicative of a competitive school rather than a weak high school course load.
I’d say that you’re definitely in NYU. Georgetown and JHU should be a shoo in as well as long as your essay isn’t horrific. Cornell might be a little tricky but I think you could do it. Columbia’s gonna be a reach just because its Columbia. Make sure that all of your essays ,recommendations, and extracurriculars work together to convey your passion for music.

JHU: Low Reach
Georgetown: Low Reach
NYU: Match
Columbia: High Reach
Cornell: Reach

Thank you everyone!
