Is that your academic GPA?

I’d say UGA is a match, GT slight reach, and Emory reach. Retake your ACT and try for a 25+ for English

Emory:high reach. Tech mid reach. Uga high match/low reach. your sat is barely at the 25th percentile and your act is under the 25th percentile. Your AP course schedule and involvement should make you an excellent candidate for UGA and you have a good chance at GT if you write good essays. Good Luck, I’m from GA too and I know how competitive the schools have become recently!

looks like you have some club packing going on there. The key is to join them in 11th grade, so at least you look commited lol.

UGA is very stats oriented. An ACT of 27+ should be good. 30+ for Ga Tech and 31-33 for Emory. Retaking the ACT should be your top priority.

BTW I’m also in state. GA ftw!!

If I really wanted to get into Tech, what should I do/improve on? Thanks for all the people that posted earlier :D

Bump… Reply?

im in state also!!! haha…
UGA- in
GTech- semi reach, if you can bring up scores a bit then you should be in
Emory- probably not happening

@petedawg how much is a bit?

a 1900+ or a 28+ should suffice. Your math score is the most important though… also if you show them that you love math/science then that will help alot

I mean I did get a 31 on math for act and in school I took AP Calc AB as a junior and taking AP STAT now. I also took AP Physics B and taking AP Bio now. Does that help?

Sooo…Reply plz :P

taking AP Calc and Stat wont set you apart from people at GT, and AP Physics C is the one to take (B is extremely easy). it wont set you apart because all the other applicants would have as well
