I'm a senior in high school in NY. I'm probably applying to emory ED (loved the school since I was a sophomore). I have visited twice. Unfortunately, I had to deal with multiple surgeries all throughout high school and could not get myself to put enough effort into studying. Please chance me!

Gender: Female
SAT: 2250 (800 Math, 690 CR, 760 Writing)
GPA: 3.2
SAT II: Math: 720 (plan to retake), US: 700, Chem: 690, Bio-M: 700

Courses: by the end of hs, 5 AP's, 13 Honors, 3 Standard
AP Chem: 5

Essays: not done yet but I plan to write the common app one about my medical issues which will hopefully end up being pretty powerful lol

Recommendations: should be great/from close teachers

I have about 60 community service hours and am very involved with arts and music within school and outside of school. I plan to send a portfolio/CD of me playing guitar/singing (if that will help)

I know Emory is probably out of my reach but I want to know if there is any chance at all! My school is very competitive and many people go to Emory. (for ED, people with 3.5 gpas and lower SAT scores have gotten in. I don't really have a point of reference for myself since I haven't really seen anyone with my stats)

Also, what schools do you think I have a good shot at? (or any other school I could apply to ED) Thanks so much; I really appreciate it!
