My essay will be very strong as well as recommendations.

How many B's have you gotten in your sophmore year and so far in your junior year?

If you can keep everything at an A- or above, I can pretty much guarantee acceptance. If you have a few B's you will most likely get in, too.

Here is your to-do list:

Keep all grades A- or above, but it's not the end of the word if you get a B+. If you happen to notice that it is impossible for you to get above a B+, you can get a B- and to Umich it will be the same thing, so don't kill yourself trying to get a B+ either.

Send your ACT. Don't rush it, they don't accept rushed scores

Login to the Umich app on August 1st of this year and get cracking to get everything in as soon as humanly possible.

Just make sure you don't apply late, otherwise your chances will be considerably lower. And don't be surprised if your deferred though, I've heard quite a few strong applicants (3.7 + 33, 3.7 + 31, etc.) deferred. They are in-state too :S

GL Though, just write good essays, get your app done early and you should be ok

oo...your chances look nicee...not that i know anything....um does anyone know when the first batch of applications are looked at? because my school doesnt accept applications until after the second week of September..if I send it rigfht then, will it make the first batch?

I know act-sat conversions are frowned upon, but a 32 is like 1430...I guess Umich thinks the act is easier because I doubt too many mid 1400s get deffered, but I'm probably wrong...
