Any replies will be very helpful. I'm thinking of doing early action also. So tell me what you think, I'm uncertain due to my SATs. Thanks!

You need to raise the math at least 50 points to be competitive. The critical reading makes the cut, just barely.

If you're wondering how I'm making these statements, I got the SAT ranges off of collegeboard.com for WPI

In case you are wondering, the 25%-75% levels on the SATs and ACTs at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2005 were:

SAT CR: 570-670 with an average of 620
SAT Math: 630-720 with an average of 674
Projected SAT Written: 610-680 (test not given until later that year)

ACT Range: 24 to 29 with an average of those accepted being at the 29 level. (in other words, they are really pretty strict about wanting a great math test score). So, MallomarCookie is right when he says you need to raise the math by 50 points to be competitive.

Also, their average W GPA is 3.6, so even with the 50 points, it's still a bit iffy.

How the *kkkk did you get a 4 on Virgil but a 520 on the SAT II, the Virgil test is so hard it made me * myself. The SatII is considerably easier.

i took the sat 2 in 10th grade, i was bad at latin back then. Then i took vergil and got a 4. Mmm i'm taking sat one more time, hopefully i can raise my sats to meet the requirements. Thanks guys!

gl getting into wpi, maybe ill see you there :-P

oh yeah, i have been taking the hardest math course i could possibly take from nineth to senior year. I also took ap physics (science). will that help me out?

yeah it will but only if you raise your SAT 1 math by 50 points. it's not that many points...you can do it!

haha thanks cookie!

Also, do you think i need to take the toefl? My english is pretty low and chinese is the first language i spoke and what i speak at home.
