Hello I am a junior this year at my school and I will be a senior next year. To make a long story short I was expelled from school for a year and put in juvenile detention for 6 months. This all happened in the 7th grade. Under VA law my lawyer left me with the impression I never have to fill out the yes I am a felon check box on any forms so I was wondering if I will be able to go to a 4 year college straight out of high school? My GPA right now is a UW 3.03 and W 3.34. I believe by the end of this year I can get it to a UW 3.3. I have yet to get ACT scores back but my SAT is 2200. I play football and I am trying to do more extra curricular activities for example, I started volunteering at a homeless shelter. I really messed up and I have changed so much I can hardly believe it. However, a college admissions person can not see the change I have gone through. I started a whole year behind everyone else at my school and I caught up and I am even taking AP classes. I am trying so hard but I don't want it to be for naught. Sorry for the brick of text I just have no one to really say this stuff to and kind of wanted an answer as well as having somewhere to vent.

Thank you in advance
