Chance for me at Tufts/Northwestern

I am a junior and am hoping to have at least a 3.4 gpa by the time college apps come around next school year.
I also will have at least a 1500 SAT.

My junior year schedule
AP English Language and Composition
Honors Latin American History
regular chemistry
regular pre-calc
orchestra
cultural anthropology (0.5)
psychology (0.5)

I am most likely going to be taking an AP class online over the summer to improve GPA and will most likely take 3 AP’s senior year.
**My dream is to apply to the Tufts/NEC dual degree program–do I have ANY chance for this?

My EC’s
-I play violin and viola and have been playing since the age of 5. I have been accepted to all-state orchestra every year since 8th grade and was chosen to play in the all-national honor ensembles symphony for 10th and 11th grade. I played with a youth symphony for 2 years and have done the “side-by-side” program with New World Symphony every year since 9th grade. Last summer i did a 7-week intensive music camp in the Adirondacks and the summer before i did a 4-week violin program at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I have gotten numerous superior ratings at “solo and ensemble”
-I have also done horseback riding since I was 5 years old and have been doing competitions since a very young age.

I am also thinking of starting a community service program soon regarding teaching music lessons – will this help me alot with Tufts?

Please, my dream is to get into Tufts-let me know if I have ANY chance with my poor GPA. any advice???

I suspect your GPA will put you out of the running but you never know.

Your gpa is gonna bring you down but your involvement in orchestra will definitely look good
