Chance for RD CMC

Hello I’m applying for regular to CMC and I never did a chance thread before, but the school is definitely one of my top choices.

Except for the SAT, your profile is similar but better than mine, and I got in. I think it comes down to how you tell your story and show your leadership skills in your essays, possible interview, and possible video. You have a very good chance, especially if you can get your SAT up, but at ~10% acceptance, no one can say anything for sure. Spend some time crafting those essays, and if you cannot get to California for an interview, make sure to do the optional video submission. Good luck!

P.S The major Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) here is a selective major you have to apply to in your Sophomore year. Have another major you might be interested in here, too.

Your profile looks very strong. Low-income, first generation, and high achieving is a really good combination. But as Woandering says, no one can really predict what will happen.
