add suggestions for schools i should look into. thanks

I would say for at least Texas, you would be in, but I’m not sure about Honors. Their selections for the program seem to be just drawn out of a hat.

thanks. anyone else? i will chance back

You should be in at UCSB and SD.
Good shot at UCLA, bringing up the SAT would help

Texas most def…
If you’re living in CA, you should be able to get into SD and SB… UCLA is a reach, just make sure you write a good essay for them.

i am also a first generation student and fluent in 3 languages. hope that helps my chances

You have a good shot at UCSD and UCSB.
Raise your SAT I score and you’ll have a good shot at UCLA.

I’d appreciate it if you’d chance me back.

i just found out today that i also rank within the top 4% of my class and i go to a highly academic high school. does that change my chances?

Texas honors is super hard to get in to especially if you are out of state. I think that you can get into all of those except for Duke and Stanford. But you still have a shot at those schools. Look at some of these links for more info:

anyone else? im really nervous about college and just want to be reassured. i will chance back!

I think that the two reaches are Stanford and Duke. You can get into UCLA with a higher SAT score. Duke and Stanford are really hard to get into and you’re ECs are a bit weak; I like the soccer-centric them though (I love soccer)! I think that you should look at engineering-themed ECs to help boost your application. Good Luck! :)

I would appreciate it if you chanced back!

You’re in at Texas, UCSB, and most likely UCSD with that resume. improve the SAT a bit and you have a decent chance at UCLA.

Duke and Stanford are both reaches at this point.
