Ill chance you for the UC’s since i know about them better than the others you listed.
UCR= safety
UCSC= in
As for UCSB and UCI, your SAT’s and EC’s look good, but your gpa is very low compared to students accepted to either of the schools (I think the average gpa for both is around 3.95-4.0) However, this average is the UC gpa, so your grades may be higher than you think they are when this is calculated.

The only option you have now to make yourself have a better chance is to really raise up that SAT score. I dont know what score would save you, but I do know that the mid-tier UC’s look past lower-than-average grades if you have a higher-than-average SAT score.

Hope i helped!

thanks very much!! (:
anyone else ehehe

I am in the same exact situation as you, except that my gpa is a bit higher, and speaking of that–is the 3.5 a weighted UC gpa? (10th-11th)
Well, ok let me just tell you that I am not a professional chancer like some of the other guys here, but from the chances and advice I have received, we’re not going anywhere besides the bottom 2 UC’s. I know it sounds heart-breaking, believe me, but only by god’s good graces will we be able to get into mid-tiers. I would suggest raising your SAT score, and writing pretty awesome essays (though only CAL and UCLA will read them)

Good Luck,
hopefully we will get into our desired school

Thanks for your honest opinion! Yeah… my school advisor said the middle tiers for me are gonna be quite the stretch D:
Good luck to you too!
Anyone else please? Thank you very much!
