Chance me for UF and FSU please :)
I will most likely be going the pre-med route (not sure if that affects anything at all.)

-GPA:
UW: 3.64 (Core classes only)
W:4.16 (Calculated UF/FSU GPA)

-SAT: 2070
Math: 700
Reading: 680
Writing: 690

-EC: (Pretty Mediocre)
200 Community service (100 at the local hospital)
Wrestling (3 years varsity)
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (2 years)

-Extra Notes:

Top 10% of class

9 AP's (4 Junior year, 5 this year)

Huuuuuuuuge upward trend. Crappy grades freshman and half of sophomore year (mostly B's, a few A's,) to straight A's junior year, and will most likely have straight A's senior year. Jumped from a 3.7-3.8 weighted Sophomore year, to a 4.8 weighted junior year.

Essay will probably be decent

If anyone decides to read all of this, THANK YOU!

Forgot to mention that I am an In-state student, and that neither of my parents went to college.

I’d say a medium match for UF and FSU is a safety.

Seriously, no one?

Last bump, I need some insight. I’m pretty scared right now.

FSU is a safety… UF is a match but you should be able to get in

Below is a link to UF’s 2013 Freshman Profile:

[University of Florida - Admissions](Freshman - How To Apply - University of Florida)

You’re in the middle 50% (and a little above on your SAT), so you’re a match.

Middle 50% of the Class

High School GPA of 4.1 - 4.4
SAT of 1780-2020
ACT of 26 - 31

However, UF uses Holistic Admissions, so 50% is GPA/Test/Rigor and 50% is EC’s/Leadership/Essay. So it’s hard to nail down your chances at UF. You should be fine, but don’t skip on the essay!

Good Luck!
