<p>To start off I'd like to admit that my EC's are extremely weak. I'm worried about that.</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA 3.56
Weighted GPA 4.15</p>

<p>My class rank is around top 15% of my senior class, and my high school is one of the best public high schools in Florida... or so I have heard.</p>

<p>So far I have taken 6 AP classes that I have all passed, currently taking 3 as a senior.</p>

<p>SAT score is 1940.</p>

<p>EC - National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, school art club</p>

<p>roughly 100 hours of community service, 2 years of foreign language.</p>

<p>I'm Asian, with US citizenship, and female. </p>

<p>I put my major as Psychology, because I'd like to be a psychiatrist one day. </p>

<p>My essays for both of them were about my experiences and struggles I overcame when I moved to America as a child from my Asian country.</p>

<p>Now I know it's kind of a reach for UF, I'm just trying my luck with that university. FSU results come out in less than a week for early action and I'm so obsessing over it I can't concentrate on my work :( These two universities are the only two I've applied for.</p>

<p>Nah, it isn’t a reach for UF. I’d say it’s a solid match, even better prospects for FSU. If it holds any weight in making you feel better: my brother and sister had solid educations at FSU for Psychology.</p>

<p>Oh, thank you! That makes me feel better. All my families tell me I should try for 2000+ SAT score, while all my friends tell me I am definitely getting in FSU at least, so I was confused between them.</p>

<p>The academic profile of the middle 50% of freshmen accepted to FSU in 2013 was:</p>

<p>3.9-4.7 weighted GPA; 26-30 ACT composite; 1730-1960 SAT total</p>

<p>For UF it was:</p>

<p>4.1 - 4.4 weighted GPA; 26-31 ACT; 1780-2020 SAT Total</p>

<p>You’re well within the middle 50%, so both schools are a match. Due to holistic admissions at UF, it appears to be a bit more random that FSU. Those that are a match at UF sometimes don’t get in :frowning: (while those that are a reach do…).</p>
