Chance/ Help a desperate Senior?

<p>I was wondering what the odds of getting in an accelerated dental program is for an international student.</p>

<p>3 AP classes so far...
however, took 6 tests total after studying with prep books.
Taking 4 AP’s in Senior Year.
I chose the most rigorous course load possible with lots of honors courses and such.</p>

<p>Some community service related to art and community.</p>

<p>I paint and draw whenever there is spare time (since kindergarten), I’m not a prodigy, but I turn out good pieces from time to time...
I write from time to time, I’m not stellar at this either but I like to believe I’m a good writer.
I will be sending in an art portfolio and a writing sample.</p>

<p>I went through a lot of family problems during my Junior Summer which messed up my focus for a while although the damage wasn’t very bad--a couple of B’s...</p>

<p>what are my chances at
BU
Tufts
or
USC</p>

<p>are there any oher schools that are likely to offer aid or will accept anyone with my stats?</p>

<p>You’ve got good chances for BU, Tufts, and USC. You NEED to raise that SAT score, though, esp. for Tufts.</p>

<p>I don’t think your ECs are as weak as you think they are especially if you build and write an essay on your involvement with art. Show the adcoms that you can contribute to the community with art (which you have shown through your clubs/community service) and really convince them of it. Definitely send in a portfolio because that can be a boost.</p>
