Hi
I was wondering about my chances at a a masters program in material science and engineering at a good university
I am currently a senior studying Chemical engineering at University of Minnesota.
GPA: 3.25
My GPA went down due to one bad semester in Junior year. I know that it's not an excuse but I had a lot of family problems and a family emergency that distracted me from my studies.
GRE: 157/155/5
I have four years worth of research experience with a well known professor ( opportunity to publish as well).
What are my chances at universities like Princeton, University of Illinois, Berkley, Texas A&M? in Material Science or Environmental Science
I am planning on taking a semester off to either work in the industry or research abroad.
Thanks!
