Chance me! (3.09 uc gpa) / Cal State Schools

I'm currently a senior getting ready to apply to colleges.
I did pretty horrible during my sophmore year because I wasn't motivated at all. During Junior year I took my work seriously so I hope these stats will get me into a Cal State University.

UC GPA: 3.09 (uw) / 3.36 (w)

ACT: 25

Since I received a C in 2nd semester Geometry, it validates the first. As well as receiving an A/B in Spanish 2 to validate the two d's in Spanish 1.

Senior Schedule (a-g courses)
AP Gov
AP Eng Lit
AP World (to retake the D received sophmore year)

Film Making (visual art)

I'm wondering after a horrible sophmore year, can I still be accepted to Cal States, especially Fullerton and Pomona.

I can’t tell you if you will get accepted but are you instate? For my city (Long Beach) there a thing called the long beach promise where if you qualify all the minimum requirements you automatically get accepted, See if there is something similar. I’m trying to go to a UC thought, and if I go to a CSU it is super hard to transfer, I totally messed up also, anyways good luck.

I live in california, I live about 15 minutes away from long beach, but i’m not in the service area so I know how much harder it is to get accepted.

im a ca resident, isnt there the 3.0 and above you get into to cal states, not all of them though
