I recently got accepted to USFSP. But, I want to apply to USF Tampa, also. Do I make a whole new application or what do I do? I applied to the St Pete campus because of the area but it doesn't hurt to try for Tampa!

I took 2 dual enrollment classes and got A's in both. I am taking ENC 1102 and MAC 1105 next semester. I am in SADD club, Student Council, and Save Club. About 50+ community service hours.

I’m not really sure…I think you’ll probably have to do a whole new application to USF in Tampa because USFSP and USF operate independently even though they are both parts of the USF System. Best to contact USF admissions office in Tampa for what to do. Some first time in college freshmen admitted to St. Pete think of USFSP as a college to start at but end up trying to transfer to Tampa to graduate from. The two schools aren’t keen on students flipping to the other campus as it is a problem for both of them…they’d prefer students starting and finishing at same location. It’s harder getting into USF-Tampa than St. Pete. The average ACT score for freshmen at Tampa is 27 and the average SAT for freshmen enrolled fall 2012 was 1209.

Again, contact USF in Tampa if you are interested in attending there instead of St. Pete.
